Giving our lives for the Lord Jesus to be used acording to His will.
These is a song that tels it all for us:
Make us an instrument of your peace and we have learned that this is a prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.
This was the prayer Cor prayed soon after giving his life back in to the hands of Jesus. This prayer was answered when God opened the door for Cor to go to Africa. The land where his grand-father had so disired to go to as a missionary. Cor never had any dreams about going to this continent but when you give God the rudder of your boat of life, He sends you were it's best for you. In the case of Cor, that was Uganda.

Cor went to Uganda in 1988 to help the orphans. In 1994 he married Grace and you can read more about Grace here.

On August 25th 2006, the Koelewijn Family left their life behind in Kampala to start a fresh mission work in Tororo. The name of the new mission is "Heart for the Children". You can read about the vision of the heart 4 children here.
